After a season of transition, we are grateful to reconnect with all our friends, supporters, and partners through our blog once again.
The past months have been a time of adjustment, learning, and settling into a new chapter at AMECET Children’s Home. Since the leadership transition in November 2025, the work of caring for vulnerable children in Soroti has continued every day with commitment, hope, and faith.
At AMECET, our mission remains the same: to provide temporary care, protection, and love to children in need while working toward family tracing, reunification, and giving every child the opportunity to grow up in a safe and caring family environment.
Over the last months, we have continued receiving and caring for children from different difficult situations, including abandonment, neglect, and cases referred through probation offices and police. We are thankful for the cooperation of local authorities, social workers, churches, and community members who continue to support this important work.
We are also deeply grateful to everyone who prays for, visits, donates to, and stands with AMECET. Your support makes a real difference in the lives of the children we serve every single day.
As we move forward, we hope to share more regular updates, stories of hope, ministry activities, and the ongoing impact of the work here in Soroti.
